I have been in the Bathtub, Shower and tile refinishing business for over 20 years. I handle all work myself and have personally refinished over 7000 Bathtubs over 2500 Stand up showers and over 2000 Tub and shower combos. Paperwork showing my 20 + years in business Grandfathered the need for proof of training.

I also proved I was a legal citizen Born and Raised in Texas through the Government Verification system.
Fingerprints were sent to the F.B.I. and I have a clear back ground on the Federal level too.

These verification's were several hundred dollars and time was taken out of the day to be fingerprinted for the F.B.I. check and yes there was a waiting period (63 days) but I did this to let my customers know I am one of the good guys!

First, you need to know that the bathtub, shower and tile coating that is used in the refinishing business is NOT epoxy paint. It is Not automobile paint. It is Not paint that can be purchased from the local hardware store or for that matter the local paint specialty store! These coatings when applied with the correct application process and when cleaned properly and not neglected will last for the next 10 to 20 years! Other refinishers are using the brush and roller method with the inferior quality Epoxy paint kits purchased from a home improvement store! (how these so called refinishing kits are still being sold is beyond me!)
Coatings should be applied 5 - 7 layers thick allowing the layers enough time to only be slightly tacky. This allows the top layer to melt into the bottom layer, allowing the unit to have strength and durability.

WHY PAY MORE? Copolymer coating applied 5 to 7 coats thick! Using the correct HVLP spray applicator as recommended for refinishing tubs and tile. A standard bathtub takes about 3 hours to complete and includes taping off surrounding area, etching and priming the old surface!

Fiberglass repair is not a quick and simple process. Depending on where the repair is needed on the tub is directly related to how well the patch will cover. It's not like your just filling in a hole and sanding it down. It has to have fiberglass tape then smoothed out with fiberglass resin. Then sanded and cleaned up to get a smooth look so it can have the color matched! If your fiberglass or cultured marble tub is cracked or damage and you are okay with restoring the look back to 90% Then the repair is going to be well worth the money spent to fix it. If you get right down on the repaired area and look then yes you will see where it was repaired in most cases.

I ABSOLUTELY will not take short cuts .... EVER. My work is done the right way or not at all and my coatings are a FAR CRY FROM THE OLD EPOXY PAINT of years ago! I use Polymer coatings that closely mimic porcelain and are made for Bathtub, tile, porcelain, fiberglass, cultured marble surfaces!

I am offering GREAT prices that are complete with etching and priming (the primer used is not the same thing as a paint primer, instead it is a bonding primer that uses nano technology. This simply means it bonds on a molecular level to the old surface so your Bathtub and / or tile will have that new gloss look and feel for years to come!
The co-polymer coatings are rated for 20+ years of life so it truly is like getting brand new tub and tile for just a fraction of the replacement cost!!
My process is as follows:

The entire surface is chemically cleaned to tear thru soap residue that you probably can not even see!
The entire surface is then scraped down with a razor blade to insure no residue is left behind.
Once again the entire surface is chemically cleaned again, just to make sure no contaminants remain.
The surface is then thoroughly etched (this puts microscopic abrasions and scratches all over the old surface) this process is considered by other refinishers to be a waste of time...... I strongly disagree. The micro abrasions will allow the new surface to bond INTO the old surface.... not ON TOP of the old surface. I fully expect my refinished products to last 20+ years!
I then use an H.V.L.P applicator to apply a clear or slightly white primer that is catalyzed. This primer will react to the finish coat to heat up and fuse to the old surface.! The Finish coat is polymer glass glaze also known as synthetic porcelain. It too is catalyzed and creates a chemical reaction that fuses to the old surface (and thanks to the etching I mentioned earlier) INTO the old surface!
This process takes about 2 hours for a standard size tub and will be ready to use in most cases 4 to 5 hours later!
I complete all jobs myself and bring with me 22 years of experience! An exhaust system is set up to funnel fumes and dust out of your home and most customers tell me no chemical odor can be smelled within (1) hour of completion!
I use great caution to tape of existing structures and I treat your home with the same respect and love that I treat my own home!

BEFORE - Tub was stripped and Etched because of a previous refinishing job that was full of runs and bubbles.

AFTER - Tub was completed with 7 coats of the copolymer glaze and the drain was coated because of rust issues around the drain.

BEFORE - The customer was "sick and tired of seeing green". Also the tile surround had Green decorations and she wanted everything updated.

AFTER - 7 coats of copolymer glaze plus a rubberized non slip bottom was applied to the tub and the tile was also refinished to match.

TUB BEFORE - this tub had been refinished by someone else. They would not redo it so the owner asked me to strip it and refinish it.

AFTER - Tub was recoated with 5-7 coats of polymer glaze coating. complete with a 7 year warranty and expected to last every bit of 20 years.

BEFORE - This customer had a bathliner installed 2 years ago for $1200.00! You can see how it leaked trapped water and mildewed and stained the tub.

AFTER - I etched the tub, applied 2 coats of fusion primer then applied 5-7 coats of polymer glaze! The tub is good as new and way less then the liner! It will last a lot longer too!

BEFORE - This tub had been worn down to nothing.

AFTER - The Nickle sized hole was repaired and the tub was etched, had fusion primer applied 2 coats thick then copolymer glaze 5 - 7 coats applied!
